This section will be updated closer to the congress date and supplemented with links; this is just to give you a general idea on how to plan your travel.
Kraków airport, ca. 11 km from the congress venue, is the second largest in Poland, with a very dense connection network, operated by major European carriers (such as
Lufthansa or KLM) and budget airlines. Ryanair alone offers 86 direct routes (as of (summer 2026); there’s also Wizzair and EasyJet. If you’re traveling from Europe or the Middle East and you don’t mind budget airlines, this will probably be not only the cheapest, but also the most convenient option (direct flights). For intercontinental travel on regular airlines, you may consider booking a flight to Kraków (with a stopover in one of large European connecting airports such as Amsterdam, Frankfurt or Munich) or, if applicable, flying to Warsaw and taking the train down to Kraków (see below), perhaps after spending a couple of days in the Polish capital, which is also worth seeing.
Reliable public transportation connects the airport to the city centre; it takes under 30 minutes to get from the terminal to the city (the main railway station) by train. Bus, taxi or ride apps (Uber, Bolt) are also available.
Sustainable travel options include long-distance buses (Kraków is a major Flixbus hub) or railway (advised for mid-distance travels within Central Europe; direct trains from Prague, Budapest, and Vienna). The train between Kraków and the Polish capital Warsaw runs every 2 hours or so and takes about 2.5 hours.
