We would like to invite members of the TIS community to share their suggestions regarding Congress keynote speakers, helping us broaden the pool of candidates to ensure a better representation of the multidirectionality of TIS research. As with previous congresses, the final choice will be jointly made by the EST Board and the Local Organising Committee, but it will be informed by the results of the survey. 

Who has been the greatest inspiration for your research and/or your latest mind-blowing discovery? Whose book comes up most in your or your students’ references? Whom do you know to be a great, engaging speaker? Whom have you never heard in person because they rarely visit your region? Please note that this is a trust-based brainstorming initiative: We trust that you’re not going to vote for yourself and/or ask your cousins to do so, and you trust that we are going to give due consideration to the results. The results are for internal use only; they will be shared within the EST board and the Local Organising Committee but not made public.

* Much as we would love to hear in Kraków some wonderful keynote speakers from previous EST Congresses, their names will be disregarded in the results; it has been EST’s principle from the beginning not to re-invite the same scholars.
